how it all began…

I founded Bela, fintech for the tourism and entertainment market, together with my brothers when I was 15 years old (this is my first business), where in operation I was directly responsible for the creation and development of the company's main solutions as well as for leading the areas of technology and institutional relations, creating sales, payment, management and banking solutions for companies in the tourism and entertainment market and, in the middle of this journey, I discovered my passion for business and for solving problems.

I was also responsible for leading the people management area, where I had my story as a management case in the book Audaz, by Mauricio Benvenutti. Leading the team, I developed a team culture and management format that proved efficient for building high-performance teams, proving that it is possible to have a strong culture and how different it can be for the business.

I really believe in the strength of entrepreneurship and the opportunity we have today to decide how we want the world to be and build how we're going to live 10/20 years from now. This energy and willingness to make it happen to come a lot from the fact that I grew up with the idea that I could be whoever and whatever I wanted when I decided, and this freedom made all the difference in my creation and growth, added a lot to the culture of "get things done".

From 2015 to 2019, we participated in the ScaleUp programs of Endeavor, the largest organization supporting entrepreneurship and high-impact entrepreneurs, and, in 2019, also in the BoostLab of Banco BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America, where we met several exponents of the market, who followed our trajectory as our mentors.

with a lot of experience in the suitcase…

In addition to having participated in several events on entrepreneurship and innovation as a speaker, I also had my story recorded as a success story in the book Audaz, by Mauricio Benvenuti.

I also have the privilege of participating as a mentor at the Founder Institute, since 2018, and in the JA Startup program, promoted by StartSe in partnership with Junior Achievement, which transforms young people aged 15 to 24 into entrepreneurs, through practical learning, so that young people get to know concepts, tools and develop the skills needed to transform their ideas into high-impact startups.

With extensive technical knowledge of software and development, as well as the services, payments and financial services sector, I provide consultancy and mentorships for the development of startups and companies, focused on:

  • Business development

  • Team building, remote and international teams, and leadership development

  • Organizational culture and high performance teams

  • Product development

  • Payments, financial services, philanthropy & banking

… I founded a fintech in the USA

In 2021, I moved to the U.S., and leveraging all the know-how on the fintech market and how to build tech products, I co-founded giveback, a fintech for philanthropy, creating a tech-enabled platform to help ultra-high-net-worth donors to create and manage giving portfolios.

As co-founder and CEO of giveback, I built the company, team, and tech platform from scratch. From branding, business strategy, positioning, hiring, onboarding, and leading diverse, remote, and international teams, to business development, OKRs, accountability, partnerships, fundraising, investor relations, and software development, taking care also of design (UX/UI), product management, QA testing, and developing the scoring algorithm to vet nonprofits and match with donor's values and causes.

I started to develop and validate the business idea in September/2021, hired the first team members in January/2022, and kick-off the development of the platform in March/2022. We successfully went live on December/22 with 140 evaluated and scored nonprofits (including notable organizations worldwide such as Malala Fund, USA for UNFPA, Girls Who Code, Pencils Of Promise, MAPS, World Food Program USA, CDC Foundation, Good Sports, The Marine Mammal Center, WaterAid, New Story, UnidosUS, BuildOn), and processed over $500k in contributions to date.

As a result of our hard work, we got featured in Forbes, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, and Kitces Advisory Map and were awarded on People’s Choice Award at Harvard SoCal 2nd Annual Pitch Event and recognized as the most innovative charity companies of 2022.

I believe that…

Nobody teaches you to be an entrepreneur

We learn in the process, evolving a little more each day. And that's why it's so important to have mentors, so we can learn from their mistakes and successes :)

We can build our future today

The world is not ready, and today we have the opportunity to decide how we want to live 10, 20 years from now!

Culture is a reflection of leadership

I really believe in leading by example and, consequently, to develop a strong organizational culture, it is necessary to look first at the leadership.

Get things done! Period.

There's no magic, no shortcut. Success is synonymous with hard work! You have to get up from your chair and make it happen. You need to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

From people to people

Each person is a person and it is necessary to look at each one individually to understand what moves you and where you want to go. At the end of the day, team is everything.

People + Process = <3

A group with the same goal, same values and high performance can only create amazing things.
